SpoOCTacular is a Kindness Challenge with a difference – encouraging all participants to complete 5 Acts of Kindness throughout the month of October leading up to Halloween whilst raising money for one of our chosen for-purpose organisations.
SpoOCTacular gives back in more ways than one. The first is being KIND to yourself and sharing this kindness with people around you and your community. The second is converting these acts of kindness into fundraising dollars to support one of our amazing for-purpose organisations. All while having heaps of fun throughout the month of October leading up to Halloween.
SpoOCTacular is the “fourth child” of Perfect Events CEO, Liliana Sanelli.
Based on her strong values of kindness and giving, her love for celebrating all things Halloween, and incorporating her Italian heritage, Liliana came up with a concept that embraces kindness and fun that can be used to then change people’s lives.
Melbourne-born with proud Italian roots, Liliana embraces life and strives to make a difference in the world through her roles as Event Producer, CEO, Thought Leader, Mentor and Mother. Liliana’s passion to give back to her community began in her pre-teens where a young Liliana would think up any excuse to “get out of the house and get involved.” The Young Italian Club became her own personal project and means to flex her keen leadership qualities. She later took on more formal charitable roles with The Leukaemia Foundation (leading the World’s Greatest Shave for a Cure campaign in Victoria), Melbourne City Mission and Parkinson’s Victoria.
As the CEO of Perfect Events – a company she started at her kitchen table in 2007 – Liliana has envisioned, nurtured, developed, and instilled lasting event experiences for clients and audiences across the globe. Through connecting communities with kindness, we are hoping all participants, and those they impact with their actions, will share that same passion and drive come October 31st.

Meet Giuseppe the Ghost!
Giuseppe the Ghost is our little Italian mascot who embodies everything SpoOCTacular. Giuseppe represents Liliana’s Italian heritage and is the figure who will guide you to be kind and keep going throughout your fundraising and kindness journey.
Giuseppe loves to dress up in all different costumes at Halloween, sometimes he just can’t decide what to wear. You may see him dressed as an Italian chef, or a cowboy, or even as a lobster. Giuseppe believes It’s Ghoul To Be Kind and shows his kindness all the time by completing his Acts of Kindness. This October, Giuseppe will share with you Kindness Challenges you can do to be your best self in your community.
